Coro Organicantum, Italy
Coro Organicantum, Italy
conductor: Edoardo Marengo
Born at the end of 2011 and currently composed by 18 members, the “Coro Organicantum” gathers amateur choristers without a specific musical education, only joined together by their love for sacred chant and music. Since its birth, the choir has held many concerts in Piedmont in Northern Italy with other amateur groups to praise together the Lord and to share with people the richness of the sacred music repertoire. The Organicantum Choir held the closing concert of the 1st edition of the Langhe and Roero’s Sacred Music Festival, sang in St. Peter’s Cathedral in Rome-Vatican, and joined different choral festivals. Edoardo Marengo is conductor of the Organicantum Choir since 2011, he is also founder of the Organicantum Association, wherewith he organizes the annual Langhe and Roero’s Sacred Music Festival in Northern Italy, with important sponsorships.
