Chorale Saint Roch de Jehanster, Belgium
Chorale Saint Roch de Jehanster, Belgium
Conductor: Olivier Franck
The Choir Saint Roch was born at Christmas 1959 thanks to several people who united under direction Albert Macquet in order to celebrate the midnight service at the church of Jehanster. Now there are 30 singers in the choir – they meet once a week to share the joy of singing and being together. Their repertoire of 4 mixed voices is wide, from classic to sacred, negro spirituals to French and foreign songs – always a cappella. They organize two concerts per year, accompany marriage messes and regularly participate in concerts and festivals. Olivier Franck has been directing the choir for 4 years.
