Bardos Lajos Mixed Choir Tatabanya, Hungary 
The choir was founded in 1994 from the members of prestigious Miners’ Choir that worked since 1959. The choir has traditional choral repertoire that a wide range of choral literature from the Renaissance up to the works written in the 21st century, both by Hungarian and foreign  composers, paying special attention to works of Zoltan Kodaly, as well as the eponymous composer Lajos Bardos. Since autumn 2001 they organize own concert every year – they sing in and around Tatabanya in churches, schools and city events. The choir´s mission is the high-toned and colorful performance of choral works, promotion of singing in choir, establishment of programs for this with the intention to arouse the audience's attention to the beauties of choral music and encourage the accession so that the new members also can experience the joy of singing.
